| Unit X Bodyboards

Unit Bodyboards is a new line of boards designed by top shapers Pete ‘PMA’ Anaya and John Castro. With over 14 years shaping experience the two have come up with the first series of boards for Unit Bodyboards. With a new board coming out periodically, the two long time shapers have started the project with specific goals in mind. Each board will have aspects of it that will be hand crafted with no machine involved.
All boards feature the new Filmed TCD (Tight Cell Deck). This new material allows just the right amount of flex for use on stiff polypro cores. Speaking of cores they use only the best Pactiv 1.9 polypropylene core made here in the U.S.A. For bottoms, they use Machine Grain Surlyn which is cut with the grain of the material to allow for maximum stiffness and strength. One last addition to all of their high grade material is their G Shaft graphite stringer which gives the board flex at the nose and strength in the middle (all boards have one stringer except for the PMA which has dual stringers). |
