Custom X Big Guy Bull PP CR Bodyboard
We've heard it before- You're 200lbs/90kgs plus, but still want to ride like you're a lightweight.
The Bull will take you there. Offered in two sizes, with two different core materials and two tail shapes,
the Bull offers a high-performance outline for speed and maneuverability, adding width for floatation for the heavier rider.
The PP (polypropylene) version offers a lighter-weight option that is less temperature-sensitive, and also comes in a 42.25" version
if you're 6' tall or under and a 43.5" for the riders up to about 6'4". The 42.25" has a single graphite stringer and the 43.5" version comes with two graphite stringers.
Always been a bigger guy, 6ft 210+. I'm 6'1", 220 lbs. I've been having a blast in east coast storm swells. This 43.5/PP/crescent is a great fit for me. Not too floaty, but buoyant enough to paddle out, while still b... view moreeing just able to duck dive. Gets into waves without having to resort to too-late takeoffs. Rails sink into waves and hold face nicely without stalling. This template really gains speed when I shift my weight forward and more onto the board without sinking it. Added width is great for buoyancy, but doesn't interfere with agile turning. It's a keeper for me. view less
I'm impressed by the looks, feel and performance of this board. With so many board manufactures pushing their line(s) onto the bodyboarding community continually it's very easy to ... view morekeep up with the Joneses. After doing my homework and some very reasonable advice from Jay I decided to go with this board and I couldn't be happier with it's performance! The board is light-weight, rigid and plenty stiff with the single stringer. I'm 5'8" and weigh 210 lbs. so this board accommodates me perfectly! The buoyancy I get from this is superb. Hats off to the guys at Custom X. I've surfed in warm Manhattan Beach water and the frigid water at Short Sands, Oregon and it has done VERY well in both environments. Thanks again to the guys and gals at both Custom X and Ebodyboarding.com. Again, I HIGHLY recommend this board! view less
