I've used all manner of neoprene socks with any number of fins, and these are the best by far.
I purchased a size L to use with my MS Viper XL fins and they covered ev... view moreery part of my foot that usually gets chewed up. The fit was great in that I knew I had them on, but once I started paddling around, I didn't notice they were there.
The drainage holes seemed to work as I don't pick up hitchhikers with these things. I can't say they helped me stay warmer as the water hasn't been cold around here lately (65-68 F). The sole with its traction texture did not stick or catch on my fins when putting fins on.
If this pair fails over time which I'm sure they will, I'd buy them again in a heartbeat. view less
These booties filled the bill. I have T2's and was looking for socks for those longer sessions. Tried the Dakine but the upper part would roll in the top of the fin ( Ihave a skinn... view morey 10.5 foot). The H20's had a higher cut and worked better with the same problem, but less of it. The Creatures have a small lip sewn on the upper part of the bootie just above the fin strap area and it won't let the sock move down plus my dakine tether go just undeneath this lip also.Had a 4 hour session, these were perfect. They have drainage holes undeneath which work ok on sany conditions.I give'em a 10. view less
My buddy ordered a L and an XL, for me and he, respectively. I wear a size 10-11 shoe, but the L would not slip on. The XL slips on fine and provides a good fit so he returned the ... view moreL in exchange for a pair of XL.The drainage holes are not very effective -- they let more sand in then out!Not hot in tropical waters view less
These things fit perfect with my vipers. Kept me nice and warm, but now theyre falling apart after 5 or so sessions (two weeks).
