Jay Reale's days as a pro bodyboarder may be behind him, but The Wolf is Jay's ultimate combo (prone or dropknee) shape incorporating near 5 decades of bodyboarding experience into this all-around, all-water-temp one-quiver board. Jay starts with a versatile rounded template. The 1.5pcf PP core works in concert with a Surlyn slick with graduated channels, slick mesh, and Tension Tech mesh layer under the deck for just the right amount of flex. The Wolf adds in a 3/4 length stringer to allow the nose to flex a bit more to aid in "scooping" and arcing high-speed cutbacks for prone riding. The defining characteristic though is the "Flip Tip" nose rocker that Jay has been using for years which allows late drops when DK riding or driving off the bottom on slabbing shorebreak without nosediving. This is the board that does it all!
