The Tribe Wolf Quad brings quad channels to Jay Reale's versatile prone and dropknee design. Built around a 1.5pcf polypropylene core which works like a charm in all water temps, a 3/4-length carbon fiber stringer, Tension Tech double mesh, and a Surlyn slick, it combines the Wolf's all-around construction with a different channel layout. The signature Flip Tip nose rocker completes a board designed for riders who like to switch between prone and DK.

From Jay: "In my never ending quest to make the ultimate one-board quiver, I started experimenting with quad channels in the summer of 2026 and found that they enhanced control for dropknee, and boosted projection and speed for prone.   The Wolf Quad is the end result and it ROCKS!"

WHO IS THIS BOARD FOR?

Ideal Rider Profile

  • Riding Style: Prone, dropknee, or a combination of both.
  • Equipment Preference: Riders looking for a versatile PP board with controlled nose flex.
  • Conditions: An all-around design intended for a range of water temperatures.

Best Suited For

  • Bodyboarders who want one shape for both prone and dropknee riding.
  • Wolf fans who prefer quad channels instead of the standard model's graduated channels.
  • Riders who value added nose flex and Jay's Flip Tip nose rocker.

WHAT MAKES IT UNIQUE?

1.5pcf PP Core: Paired with the stringer and double mesh to create the Wolf's versatile flex construction.

3/4-Length Carbon Fiber Stringer: Reinforces the board while allowing additional nose flex for scooping and arcing prone turns.

Tension Tech Double Mesh: Reinforcement beneath both the deck and slick works with the core and stringer.

Surlyn Slick and Quad Channels: A premium bottom construction with a four-channel layout on the tail end of the board in place of the standard Wolf's graduated channels.

Finger bulbs:  Raised bumps on the top corners of the slick aid grip.

Hand bulbs:  Raised bumps on the deck to fit in the cup of your palm.

Flip Tip Nose Rocker: Jay's signature nose kick is designed to help with late dropknee drops and reduce nosediving.

Crescent Tail and Grip Features: A crescent tail completes the shape, with hand bulbs and finger bulbs for grip.

    HOW DOES IT COMPARE?

The Wolf Quad shares the standard Wolf's construction and prone/DK focus. The key difference is the bottom channel configuration: quad channels replace the standard model's graduated channels.
