The details

Video, dimensions & specs

Someone once told Vicki Reale she was the most-barreled female over 50 they knew. While we don't have proof, there's no doubt the Valkyrie design has boosted her tube tally into the stratosphere. The Tribe Valkyrie Bat takes Vicki's prone-focused design and adds a bat tail. It's built around a 1.5pcf polypropylene core, a 3/4-length carbon fiber stringer, slick mesh, a Surlyn slick, and CNC quad channels. A functional deck contour pattern and thinner profile in the 40" and smaller sizes make it responsive and easy to grip.

WHO IS THIS BOARD FOR?

Ideal Rider Profile

  • Riding Style: Prone.
  • Equipment Preference: Riders looking for a responsive PP board with a bit of flex and a bat tail.
  • Conditions: A 1.5pcf PP core designed to perform across a range of water temperatures.

Best Suited For

  • Prone riders who want a board designed for turning and tube riding.
  • Valkyrie fans who prefer a bat tail over a crescent tail.
  • Riders who like the added grip and control of deck contours.

WHAT MAKES IT UNIQUE?

1.5pcf PP Core: Keeps the board performing no matter what the water temperature, with a bit of flex for turning.

3/4-Length Carbon Fiber Stringer: Reinforces the board while leaving a bit of flex.

Bat Tail: The key difference from the standard Valkyrie's crescent tail.

Deck Contour Pattern: Vicki's functional deck contours help with grip and control.

Thinner Small Sizes: The 40" and smaller sizes are thinner, making them more responsive and easier to grip.

Surlyn Slick and Slick Mesh: A premium bottom with mesh reinforcement.

CNC Quad Channels: Precision-cut quad channels work with the deck contours, slick, and stringer to help the board turn on a dime.

Nose Kick and Slick Bulbs: A nose kick up front, with slick bulbs for grip.

HOW DOES IT COMPARE?

The Valkyrie Bat shares its design story and construction with the standard Tribe Valkyrie. The key difference is the tail: the Valkyrie Bat has a bat tail, while the standard Valkyrie has a crescent tail.
