Tribe Valkyrie Bodyboard

Someone once told Vicki Reale she was the most-barreled female over 50 they knew. While we don't have proof, there's no doubt the Valkyrie design has boosted her tube tally into the stratosphere. The Tribe Valkyrie is Vicki's prone-focused design, built around a versatile 1.5pcf polypropylene core, a carbon fiber stringer, slick mesh, a Surlyn slick, and CNC quad channels. A functional deck contour pattern and thinner profile in the 40" and smaller sizes make it responsive and easy to grip. This is our premier prone riding masterpiece.

WHAT MAKES IT UNIQUE?

1.5pcf PP Core: Keeps the board performing no matter what the water temperature, with a bit of flex for turning.

Carbon Fiber Stringer: A full-length carbon fiber stringer on the Deep Sea Green/Deep Sea Green/Turquoise and Gunmetal Grey/Black/Violet Jade colorways (41.5" and 42.5"). All other colorways have a 3/4-length carbon fiber stringer.

Deck Contour Pattern: Vicki's functional deck contours help with grip and control.

Thinner Small Sizes: The 40" and smaller sizes are thinner, making them more responsive and easier to grip for smaller riders

Surlyn Slick and Slick Mesh: A premium bottom with mesh reinforcement.

CNC Quad Channels: Precision-cut quad channels work with the deck contours, slick, and stringer to help the board turn on a dime.

Nose Kick and Crescent Tail: A nose kick and crescent tail complete the shape.

Slick Bulbs: Available on newer colorways in the 38", 39", 40.5", 41.5", 42.5", and 43.5" sizes only (email for more info).

Hand bulbs:  Raised bumps on the deck to fit in the cup of your palm.  

HOW DOES IT COMPARE?

The Valkyrie shares its design story and construction with the Tribe Valkyrie Bat. The key difference is the tail: the Valkyrie has a crescent tail, while the Valkyrie Bat has a bat tail.
